I'm a contractor, and yet had never installed an egress window after the fact. I contacted support with some technical questions, and they were very informative in helping make decisions. I could have saved some money buying the components separately, but then there would have been different companies / shipping companies involved and that made it more complicated. They have it all figured out, and it was worth the extra money.
