Window kit arrived on time and in good shape. Installation was relatively easy since I'm a retired contractor. The window is beautiful and the added natural light in the space is great. The only negative is the salesman didn't mention the use of a mounting frame sold seperatly.

I am glad the installation was relatively easy for you.
The mounting frame that you mention is available in a kit for 'new construction'. This 'new construction kit' is only used when you have not yet poured the concrete foundation since that mounting frame (window buck) gets put into the concrete forms. Since your project was a retro-fit, the foundation was already existing, this 'new construction kit' and the mounting frame/window was not something that you could use on your project.

Easy egress install kit

Easy to install, directions easy to follow, myself,son and nephew installed easy in one day. Rented a small track hoe, cut a hole in concrete block foundation,and sealed,framed, installed window, well and backfilled. Only thing left is some painting.
